It could be thought of as a stripped down version of the Amazing Pass, which will get you into facilities for free, but does not include any transporation. It is useful if you are staying near some of the attractions, or perhaps will visit many attractions in one or two places. The other wise way to use it would be if you already have a JR Pass, regional rail pass, or perhaps simply pair it up with a day ticket for the Osaka Metro.

The choice is attractions (more than 25) is less than half those offered by the Osaka Amazing Pass. However, it costs less, can be use conveniently as an app on your phone (no physical ticket required), and if it covers the attractions you need, why pay more for those you won't use?
