Refund Policy

Please read carefully. By purchasing Products and Services from dsomedia Limited (via www.therealjapan.com), the following Refund Policies are entered into by dsomedia Limited (“Company”, “we”, or “us”) and You (“Client”, "Customer", or “You”), and You agree to the following terms stated herein. 

Digital Products (eBooks, Guides, Google Maps, etc.)

All digital products including eBooks, guides, Google Maps, PDFs, checklists, etc. come with our 30 Day No Questions Asked
'Keep The Product' Money-Back Guarantee. If you're not entirely happy with your digital product within 30 days of the purchase date, just let contact us and we'll send you a prompt refund. And you can keep the digital product for free anyhow.


Travel Planning Services & Consulting

Travel Planning Services (including, but not limited to, Travel Planning Calls, Travel Planning Service, and Consulting (Services). Services are provided at a flat fee, which must be paid in advance and constitutes full payment for the services. The service fee is fully earned upon receipt, subject to the cancellation and refund policy set forth below. You may cancel the service (thereby terminating any relationship with dsomedia Limited) for any reason, and we may also cancel the service for any reason. You may be entitled to a refund of a portion of the service fee if the service is not provided, subject to the cancellation and refund policy below.


Cancellations, No-Shows, & Refunds

  • Single or Multiple Travel Planning Calls: If you need to cancel or reschedule a call, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations with at least 48-hours notice will receive a 75% refund, which you agree is the fee earned by dsomedia Limited for losing the time slot which we would have otherwise been able to book, plus the administrative time to refund and reslot the call time. Any call that is not started within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time will be considered a no-show. Cancellations with less than 48-hours notice will receive a refund of the amount paid less 50%, which you agree is the fee earned by dsomedia Limited for preparation for the call. Because our time is limited, and we receive more requests for calls and client work than we can fill, no-shows will not receive a refund of the fees paid. You will receive a full refund if we cancel the call. If a call, or calls, are purchased but no date is booked, and you then wish to cancel your order then you will receive a refund of the amount paid less 50%, which you agree is the fee earned by dsomedia Limited for preparation for the call or calls and corresponding administration. 
  • Travel Planning Service (Premium Service): If you need to cancel or reschedule a Premium Service, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations with at least 48-hours notice will be rescheduled. Cancellations with less than 48-hours notice may not be rescheduled and are considered earned by dsomedia Limited for losing the time slot which we would have otherwise been able to book, plus the administrative time to reslot the Premium Service. Any call as part of a Premium Service that is not started within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time will be considered a no-show. No-shows will not receive a credit or refund of any fees paid, and your session will be forfeit. You will receive a service/call credit (reschedule) for any session if dsomedia Limited needs to cancel.

Chargebacks

Since we have a clear and explicit refund policy, that you must agree to prior to purchase of any Products or Services, we do not tolerate or accept any type of chargeback (threat or actual) from you, your credit card company, issuing bank, or credit card processor. If a chargeback is placed on a purchase, or if we receive a chargeback threat during or after your purchase, we reserve the right to report the incident to all relevant credit reporting agencies or to any other entity for inclusion in any chargeback database or for listing as a delinquent account, which could have a negative impact on your credit report score. The information reported may include your name, email address, IP addresses, order date, order amount, billing address, and all other information you provided willingly during the purchase.

Any changes will be immediately posted on www.therealjapan.com and you will be deemed to have accepted the terms of the Refund Policy on your first purchase of our Products or Services following the alterations.
