Hiroshima City Guide: New Hotel and Ryokan Info

Following on from the recent release of the Version 2 Updated Hiroshima Google Map, I've also updated my Hiroshima City Guide.
This expert guide, written by local resident and tour guide Joy Walsh, now includes further information on where to stay.
There are now 2 sections: one for accommodation in Hiroshima itself and a second for lodging on Miyajima (Itsukushima) Islands as well.
I've included photos of some of my recommended hotels and ryokan for both destinations, as well as links for checking current availability and prices.
Indulge in Miyajima's Premium Island Stays

In my recent research on Miyajima Island accommodation, I've discovered some truly exceptional options for comfort-seeking travellers.
I was impressed by Hotel Miyajima Villa, which beautifully blends modern comforts with traditional aesthetics. Kinsuikan caught my eye for its stellar kaiseki cuisine paired with breathtaking ocean views.
For those craving an authentic ryokan experience, I'd highly recommend Itsukushima Iroha, where you can soak in private onsen baths.
Meanwhile, the Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto offers a nice mix of Western and Japanese-style rooms, catering to diverse preferences.
My top pick for seclusion and scenery is Mizuhaso Bettei Hamorebi (pictured above), with its private villas overlooking the island's stunning landscapes.
Details on all of these and more can be found in my newly-updated Hiroshima Google Map.
