Japan Travel Planning: A First Trip To Japan

As the founder of the multi award-winning Revitalize Health & Fitness Clinic, Elliott Reid knows a thing or two about consistently delivering transformations for his clients.

When Elliott's fiancee was confirmed as a gymnastics Olympian in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, it was time to start researching their first trip to Japan.

Despite having had a fascination with Japan since he was young, rather than attempting to come up with a Japan itinerary on his own, Elliott turned to The Real Japan and my Concierge service.

Here, in his own words, Elliott shares his story about doing things the right way...

Simcard Geek Stops Selling Physical SIM Cards

Simcard Geek site The Real Japan travel resources

In a 'sign of the times' SIMcard Geek has stopped selling physical SIM cards, in favour of eSIMs.

Last month the company has launched a series of Unlimited data-only eSIMs.

eSIMs, or embedded SIMs, are electronic SIM cards that are built directly into devices like smartphones, tablets, and wearables.

Unlike traditional physical SIM cards that need to be physically inserted, eSIMs can be remotely programmed and provided.

This makes eSIMs more convenient for some users, as they don't need to swap out physical cards when changing carriers or plans.

However, eSIMs are not compatible with older smartphones (like my still-going-strong Galaxy S7!) and devices.

Oh, and one of the reasons I recommend Simcard Geek is that the majority of their profits go to charity.
